Description
Cecchi's Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is produced in the prestigious area of Montepulciano, in the province of Siena. This wine is made from Prugnolo Gentile (a selection of Sangiovese) and other complementary varieties. The vineyards are located on medium-textured soil with a limestone matrix of Pliocene origin.
The vinification takes place in red at a controlled temperature of 26 °C for a period of 15 days, followed by a refinement of 24 months in small oak barrels and a further minimum refinement of 3 months in the bottle. This long aging process allows the wine to evolve and achieve perfect harmony between its elements.
This Vino Nobile di Montepulciano has a very intense ruby red color that tends towards garnet with aging. On the nose it offers a varietal aroma with an intense hint of sweet violet. On the palate it is pleasantly tannic, harmonious and with great structure.
Perfect in combination with roasts and cheeses.
