European Vice-Champion Sommelier 2018
Andrea Gori
Static year, little rhythm, a lot of fruit, there was a lot of work, a lot of selection but it is rewarded by rhythm and intensity of depth. Perky acidity and a sour cherry juice that struggles to leave the palate, excellent.

Description

The Nobile di Montepulciano di Boscarelli is born in vineyards located in Cervognano, in one of the most suitable areas of the Montepulciano area.

It is produced 90% with Sangiovese grapes and 10% with Malvasia Nera, Colorino Mammolo and Canaiolo grapes, harvested only by hand. The grapes undergo a soft pressing and ferment in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28-30 ° C for about a week, with manual pumping over and punching down. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique for 18-24 months before being bottled.

This Nobile di Montepulciano is characterized by a brilliant ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose opens with hints of blueberries and plums, enriched by pleasant aromas of violets. On the palate it is elegant, fruity and pleasantly persistent, with light tannins.

Perfect to accompany dishes based on meat sauce and risotto, it is ideal in combination with game, roasts and stews.
