Description
Red wine that comes to life from the limestone and arid soils of Nizza DOCG. A label, the La Luna e i Falò symbol of proximity to the earth and its origin.
It is obtained from slightly overripe Barbera grapes with traditional fermentation, with maceration in contact with the skins for about 15 days at a temperature of 28-30 °C. Once the malolactic fermentation is over, it ages in barriques for 15 months, followed by a further 6 months in bottle.
Intense purple in colour, it expresses a large and complex bouquet on the nose, with notes of berries and vanilla, supported by touches of caramel and coconut. On the palate, it is balanced and elegant, with pleasant hints of blueberry and coffee.
It is excellent in combination with all red meat, aged cheeses and game.
