Description

Nizza Cipressi by Michele Chiarlo derives from the vineyards with the best exposure of the La Court farm, located in the municipality of Castelnuovo Calcea, in the province of Asti.

It is produced exclusively with Barbera grapes, harvested only by hand. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks, with maceration in contact with the skins for 10-12 days. Once the malolactic fermentation is over, the wine ages for at least 18 months in wood, of which at least 12 months in large barrels.

It is characterized by an intense ruby red color. On the nose it releases elegant hints of ripe cherry and raspberry, accompanied by sweet notes of tobacco. On the palate it is broad and full-bodied, pleasantly sapid and round.

Extraordinary in the company of salami and stuffed pasta, it is perfect in the company of red meats.
