Description

Cabernet Merlot Pillitteri is a blend produced in the Canadian Niagara Peninsula region located in the southern part of Lake Ontario.

With a continental and maritime climate due to the presence of the lake, the ripening of the grapes can count on a longer growing season and with temperatures that never reach the levels of other areas of Canada. After harvesting, the varieties are fermented to face a ageing in oak barrels for 12 months.

Of a beautiful intense ruby red, it has aromas of black cherry on the nose, composed of currant, plum, licorice and black pepper. On the palate it is soft and elegant with smooth tannins that leave room for a well-structured taste, correct acidity and a perceptible roundness. Harmonious and with a long finish.

A wine that awaits important courses based on red meats, it can be the ideal ally for barbecues with hamburgers and pork.
