Description
The Negroamaro of Terra d'Otranto di Notte Rossa comes from vineyards of the Salento peninsula, planted on soils of red earth, in a warm and low rainfall environment, characterized by remarkably high temperature excursions.
It is produced with 100% Negroamaro grapes, harvested in the last week of September. After a long maceration and contact with the skins, the must ferments at a controlled temperature of 24-26 ° C. The wine ages for 6 months in French oak barrels.
Wine with a deep purple red color, it offers a complex perfume made of spices, berries and cherry jam. On the palate it reveals a large body, soft and harmonious, with well integrated tannins.
Recommended with robust first courses and red meat second courses, it goes well with aged pecorino cheeses and game.
