Description
This Nebbiolo d'Alba Superiore is produced by the Batasiolo company, owned by the Dogliani family, which has been producing wine in the Langhe for over 4 decades.
The wine is made up of 100% Nebbiolo grapes, which are destemmed and fermented for 8-12 days in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine then ages for 18 months, of which at least 6 in oak barrels.
Ruby red in color with garnet reflections, it expresses aromas of undergrowth and cherry jam on the nose. The sip is fresh and elegant, with a persistent finish.
Ideal in combination with cured meats and cheeses, with fried meat and fondue.
