Description
The Langhe Nebbiolo Occhetti was born in the Prunotto estate owned by the Marquis Antinori, located in the heart of the Langhe DOC, a UNESCO heritage site.
It is produced with 100% Nebbiolo grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand in the first days of October. Fermentation takes place, with maceration, at a maximum temperature of 29 ° C for 10 days. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 12 months in barrels of various sizes and for another 4 months in bottle before being marketed.
The Occhetti has a ruby red color tending to garnet. The nose opens with elegant hints of raspberries and rose, enriched with notes of licorice. On the palate it is full, soft and harmonious, with a long aftertaste.
Perfect to accompany hot appetizers, first courses and meat dishes.
