Description

Nebbiolo d'Alba Duchessa Lia is a red wine produced in the Piedmont region. This wine is obtained exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes, an indigenous vine of the area synonymous with elegance and complexity. Perfect for fans of full-bodied and structured red wines.

Winemaking follows traditional methods to enhance the unique characteristics of the grape variety. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected before being fermented at a controlled temperature. The aging process takes place in oak barrels, where the wine develops its complexity and characteristic aromatic profile.

This wine is known for its intense red color which tends to garnet with aging. On the nose it offers an intense bouquet of undergrowth, violets and spices which anticipates a harmonious and full-bodied flavour. In the mouth it is well balanced with elegant tannins and a long persistence. Over time the aromas are enriched with tertiary notes of liquorice and tobacco.

This Nebbiolo d'Alba pairs perfectly with structured first courses, meat-based second courses and mature cheeses.
