Summary
Description
Nebbiolo d'Alba Bernardina was born in the historic estate of Monsordo-Bernardina, located on the border with the territory suited to the production of Barolo, his older brother.
Nebbiolo grapes are harvested approximately in the second half of October and are then crushed and vinified in steel tanks. Maceration takes place at controlled temperature for about 15 days while aging takes place in wooden barrels for 12 months.
It has a garnet red color, with slight brick hues, typical of this noble grape. Notes of undergrowth, potpourri of flowers and sweet spices stand out on the nose. In the mouth, the palate is satisfied by an elegant tannin and a velvety closure.
It expresses the best of itself combined with a cutting board of seasoned cheeses or second courses of game.
