Description
The Prisoner's red wine is born in Napa Valley.
The Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Petit Syrah grapes are harvested by hand and fermented separately in tanks for 10-20 days. The wine then ages for 15 months in French and American oak barrels, 55% new.
Dark ruby in color, it reveals aromas of black currants, herbs and licorice on the nose, enriched with notes of toasted coconut and dried blueberries. The sip is full and soft, with a good persistence.
It is enjoyed in combination with stewed meats and roasted game.
