Description
This Pinot Noir is produced by the Schlink winery, a company that has been producing wine for 5 generations in Nahe, one of the smallest and most prestigious wine-growing areas in Germany.
Once in the cellar, the grapes are de-stemmed and then fermented in steel vats, where the wine is subsequently refined on the fine lees for 3-5 months. The wine continues refinement in the bottle for 2 months before being put on the market.
In the glass the wine appears of a light ruby red color. The nose reveals aromas of red and black fruits such as cherry and blueberry, with a final note of almond. The sip is warm and soft, with a voluptuous fruity finish.
It goes preferably with pasta with meat sauce, stewed red meats and fresh and semi-aged cheeses.
