Description
Egon Müller's Mosel Scharzhofberger Riesling Kabinett was born in the vineyard of the same name located in Wiltingen, in a side valley facing south. Its steep slopes, with a gradient of 30–60%, are located at an altitude of 180-280 meters. This delicate wine, fresh and exquisite on the palate, represents the great elegance and aging capacity of Moselle Rieslings.
Winemaking follows a traditional and minimalist approach, aimed at enhancing the characteristics of the vineyard and the territory. The company, led by Egon Müller, has been producing very high quality wines since 1797, using low yields and seeking ideal maturity. The winery owns approximately 16 hectares of vineyards, mainly Riesling, and follows methods that respect the traditions of the Moselle.
The Mosel Scharzhofberger Riesling Kabinett has a straw yellow color and a pure, fresh and intense minerality. The bouquet offers mineral, floral and fruity hints of apple, pine and berries. On the palate, it stands out for the great persistence of aromas and flavors, making it a refined and complex wine.
Excellent for special occasions, it is ideal as an aperitif and pairs perfectly with fish and shellfish dishes.
