Description

Joh's Riesling Auslese Wehlener Sonnenuhr by Jos. Prüm is harvested from very ripe grapes from the most representative vineyards of the Wehlen area in the Moselle.

After a rigorous harvest carried out to ensure only the clusters free from imperfections and in perfect health, the vinification takes place in a natural way, using indigenous yeasts and steel tanks. A period of ageing in steel follows to keep the organoleptic characteristics of the Riesling intact before bottling.

Golden yellow in colour with full and bright reflections, it expresses notes of apricot, pear and citrus on the nose, accompanied by light notes of incense and white pepper. White pulp fruits appear on the palate, with a vigorous and compact body, well integrated with respect to acidity and very expressive for a long and harmonious finish.

Ideal as an aperitif wine, it accompanies savoury and aged cheeses and white meat dishes.
