Description

Markus Molitor's Riesling Haus Klosterberg comes from the 24 hectares of the Rachtig area located along the Moselle River.

Grown near the cellar, this Riesling grows on soils with excellent exposure and benefits from the presence of soils rich in slate and ferrous compounds. The harvest takes place in October and, after a short maceration in contact with the skins, the must is fermented in a natural way to preserve a great aromatic impact. The vinification is carried out in steel and partially in large wooden barrels with a further stop on the fine lees.

Thick wine and great aromatic fragrance, it has a straw yellow color and shows hints of green fruits on the nose, together with light well-integrated spicy notes that evolve on the palate with a pleasant minerality and great fragrance.

Also ideal for an aperitif, it is a wine to try with seafood, dishes based on cheeses and risotto with vegetables.
