Description

The Morgon Cuvée Gaudet by Hospices de Beaujeu is produced in the municipality of Villié-Morgon, in the heart of the Rhône, specifically in the center of the 10 crus of Beaujolais.

It is made exclusively with Gamay grapes, processed following a traditional winemaking method. The long fermentation takes place with maceration in contact with the skins in stainless steel tanks. The wine always ages in steel for 8-10 months.

It has a deep ruby red color. Notes of red fruits emerge on the nose, embellished with woody and spicy tones. On the palate it is rich and full, characterized by a sweet minerality.

Excellent in combination with terrines and pâtés, but also with medium-aged cheeses.
