Description

The Morey-Saint-Denis "En la rue de Vergy" is a refined white wine from the Côte de Nuits, in Burgundy, and is born on predominantly limestone soils. The vines were planted in 1980 and are located at an average altitude of 320 meters.

The winemaking process takes place in stainless steel vats for a period of 2-3 weeks, followed by an 18-month refinement in oak barrels, of which approximately 15% are new.

In the glass it appears gold in color. The wine expresses a notable minerality both on the nose and on the palate, accompanied by a wide aromatic range with notes of white flowers, which mix with hints of white pulp fruit such as pear and apple, with a light touch of citrus fruits and a fine minerality reminiscent of flint. Persistent finish.

This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with fish dishes, especially delicate ones such as baked or grilled fish.
