Description

The Morellino di Scansano from Cantina 8380 is a pure and authentic expression of the Sangiovese grape.

After careful fermentation in steel, the wine undergoes a period of maturation in barrique for approximately 6-8 months and then returns to steel where it is assembled to create a perfect mix. Followed by further refinement for 4 months in the bottle.

Ruby red in color with purple reflections, it opens on the nose with an intense and complex bouquet of ripe red fruit. In the mouth it is full-bodied and enveloping, with a long persistence.

It pairs perfectly with red meat and mature cheeses. Also excellent to serve with game-based recipes.
