Description
The Monthélie Blanc from the Parent domaine is a sophisticated example of Chardonnay, grown on the clay-limestone soils characteristic of Burgundy.
The harvest is manual. Both alcoholic and malolactic fermentation are carried out in oak barrels, partially new. Aging in these same containers allows the wine to develop a rich and complex character.
The Monthélie Blanc has a straw yellow color and opens on the nose with aromas of yellow peach and hawthorn flowers, enriched by a subtle mineral note. On the palate the wine is crunchy, enveloping and fresh.
It excels in combination with white meats, oysters and sushi.
