Description
Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Marina Cvetic Iskra di Masciarelli is born in vineyards located in the Teramo municipality of Controguerra, on the Aprutinian hills.
It is produced entirely with Montepulciano grapes, harvested by hand in the first half of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine matures in oak barrels for 12 months and refines for another 24 months in the bottle before being put on the market.
It has a dark ruby red color, tending to bluish. The nose opens with intense hints of red and black fruits, enriched with pleasing notes of nettles. On the palate it is full-bodied, with round and soft tannins.
Perfect in combination with roast lamb and stewed meats, this wine is ideal to accompany rich and spicy foods.
