Description
Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Tonì di Cataldi Madonna was born in the vineyards located in the municipality of Cona, in the province of L'Aquila.
It is produced exclusively with Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, at controlled temperature, with periodic pumping over. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for about 12 months and for another 18 months in big wood barrels (25 hl), before being marketed.
It is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with elegant and concentrated aromas of ripe fruits, enriched with pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is pleasantly fresh, with an intense and delicate tannic texture.
Perfect to accompany first courses with meat sauce and mushrooms, it is ideal in combination with roasts, game and stewed meats.
