Description

Montepulciano di Abruzzo Riserva Malamore is produced by Cantina Truentum, a company belonging to Cantine Nae, a young company that brings together wines produced from different regions of the Italian peninsula. Truentum was born in 2020 in Abruzzo in the Controguerra area, on the border with the Marche.

It comes from 100% Montepulciano grapes, which are vinified in thermo-regulated steel tanks. The wine subsequently ages in French oak barrels for 9 months.

Ruby red in color with violet reflections, the nose reveals aromas of violet, berries, spices and wood. The sip is warm and strong, with well-integrated tannins and a long finish.

It pairs well with grilled red meats and mature cheeses.
