Description
Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Nereto is produced by Cantina Truentum, a company belonging to Cantine Nae, a young company that brings together wines produced from different regions of the Italian peninsula. Truentum was born in 2020 in Abruzzo in the Controguerra area, on the border with the Marche.
It is born on the Aprutini Hills from Montepulciano grapes, which are softly pressed. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature and lasts 15-20 days. The wine ages in the same containers.
Ruby red in color with violet reflections, the nose reveals intense aromas of berries, plums, cherries, enriched with notes of coffee and vanilla. The sip is warm, with soft tannins.
It pairs well with baked pasta with meat sauce and semi-mature cheeses.
