Description
The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Cocciapazza of Torre dei Beati was born in organic vineyards located in the municipality of Loreto Aprutino, in the province of Pescara.
It is produced with pure Montepulciano grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, with a maceration on the skins for 30 days. Subsequently the wine ages for 20-22 months in mainly new barriques, before being bottled.
The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Cocciapazza of Torre dei Beati has a very intense and concentrated ruby red color. The nose opens with characteristic hints of red fruits, in perfect balance with notes of black pepper, licorice, chocolate and tobacco. On the palate it is structured and full, with soft tannins and a pleasantly long and persistent finish.
Excellent in the company of first courses with meat sauce, it goes well with stewed meats, game and mature cheeses.
