Description

Montepulciano di Abruzzo 968 is produced by Cantina Truentum, a company belonging to Cantine Nae, a young company that brings together wines produced from different regions of the Italian peninsula. Truentum was born in 2020 in Abruzzo in the Controguerra area, on the border with the Marche.

It comes from 100% Montepulciano grapes, which are pressed and then vinified in thermo-regulated steel tanks for 15-20 days. The wine subsequently ages in the same containers.

Ruby red in color with violet reflections, the nose reveals aromas of red flowers, berries and spices. The sip is warm and rich, with soft tannins and a long finish.

It pairs well with first courses and stewed red meats.
