Description

The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo signed Ciavolich comes from the vineyards of Pianella, in the province of Pescara, which lie on a clayey-limestone soil near a small natural lake that allows the roots of the plants to remain moist even in the driest periods.

Fermentation takes place in steel in order to preserve its natural characteristic of freshness unaltered. Refines in wood for 18 months and for another 6 months in the bottle.

It has a purple red color with a tendency towards purple reflections. The nose opens with elegant hints of red fruits in jam and spicy hints. The taste is full-bodied and rightly tannic.

It excels in the company of first courses and grilled meats, especially lamb.
