Description
Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Vere Novo by Mazzarosa is produced in Casal Thaulero near Roseto degli Abruzzi, in the province of Teramo.
With a south-southwest exposure, the vines are grown on gentle hill slopes and clayey soils. After the harvest, carried out around the second-third week of October, the whole cluster fermentation takes place (30-40%) and then the ageing in steel.
Beautiful intense purple red with violet reflections, it opens on the nose with full and fruity hints of cherry jam, cherries in alcohol and herbaceous notes. The sip is dry, warm and soft.
Perfect to serve with legume soups, fresh pasta with meat sauces, cold cuts and cheeses.
