Description

Montello Asolo Manzoni by Serafini & Vidotto is produced exclusively with 100% Incrocio Manzoni 6.0.13 grapes, obtained from the Riesling and Pinot Bianco varieties by Professor Luigi Manzoni in 1930 at the Cerletti Wine Institute in Conegliano. The name indicates the exact position of the vineyard where the best result was achieved: vineyard 13 of row number 6.

The harvest takes place in mid-September, followed by maturation in steel for at least 6 months on fine lees, to enhance its freshness and aromatic notes.

It has a bright straw yellow color. On the nose, hints of exotic fruit, citrus fruits, yellow apple and white peach emerge, enriched by floral nuances, mint and sage. The tasting reveals an immediate freshness and a pleasantly mineral finish, making Manzoni a wine of rare finesse and elegance.

Ideal in combination with "sweet" Parma ham, spaghetti with seafood and marinara risottos, it excels in the company of fresh cheeses, both cow's milk and pecorino and/or goat's cheeses.
