Description

Sagrantino Sacer was born in the Còlpetrone vineyards. Thanks to a very particular terroir, the Sagrantino vine takes on completely original and unique characteristics.

Obtained from pure Sagrantino grapes, harvested and carefully selected by hand, this wine, after the classic red winemaking processes, matures for 18 months in first and second passage French oak barriques. It then refines for another 3 years in the bottle where it stabilizes all the organoleptic peculiarities.

Sacer di Còlpetrone has a ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose is complex and very elegant, with notes of berries and spicy sensations of leather, liquorice and chocolate. In the mouth it shows great body and enviable elegance, a reflection of the territory of origin.

A wine that can age for up to 20 years, it pairs excellently with important dishes based on red meat, game and stewed meats.
