Description
The Montefalco Sagrantino Riserva Il Domenico di Adanti is produced from grapes coming from the old vineyard in the Colcimino area.
It is made exclusively of Sagrantino grapes, which first undergo destemming. Maceration and alcoholic fermentation take place inside thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks for a period of 28 days. This is followed by refinement in 30 hl oak barrels and tonneaux, for a total period of 30 months.
It appears dark ruby red. The nose expresses a multifaceted bouquet with aromas of cassis, tobacco, coffee and graphite. In the mouth it is well structured, with an important tannic texture and a persistent finish.
Ideal as an accompaniment to roasted red meats and game.
