Description
Adanti's Montefalco Sagrantino Arquata is produced from different vineyard plots located in the province of Perugia, in Umbria, in the municipality of Bevagna.
It is made exclusively of Sagrantino grapes, which first undergo destemming and crushing. Maceration and alcoholic fermentation take place inside thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks for a period of 21-24 days. This is followed by refinement in 30 hl oak barrels and tonneaux, for a total period of 28 months.
It appears dark ruby red. The nose expresses a multifaceted bouquet with aromas of blackberries and plums, enriched with notes of liquorice, juniper and aromatic herbs. In the mouth it has body and an important tannic texture, perfectly integrated.
Ideal as an accompaniment to tasty roasts.
