Description
Arnaldo Caprai's Montefalco Rosso Riserva is born in vineyards located in the lands of Montefalco in Umbria, from a company that is constantly developing to create wines with great personality and typicality.
It is produced with 70% Sangiovese grapes, 15% with Sagrantino grapes and 15% with Merlot grapes. It ages for about 20 months in barrique, and for a further 6 months in bottle.
This Montefalco Riserva is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens with an intense bouquet with hints of cherry, chocolate, violet and vanilla. On the palate it is full and soft, with a velvety and vibrant tannin.
A structured and full wine, perfect to accompany roasts and red meats, and ideal in combination with aged cheeses, cold cuts and salami.
