Description
Montefalco Rosso di Arnaldo Caprai was born in vineyards located in the lands of Montefalco in Umbria, from a company that is continuously developing to create wines with great personality and typicality.
It is produced 70% with Sangiovese grapes, 15% with Sagrantino grapes and 15% with Merlot grapes. This wine ages for about 12 months in barriques, and for further 4 months in bottle.
Montefalco Rosso is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens with an elegant bouquet with hints of wild flowers, red fruits and a touch of nutmeg. On the palate it is dry and soft, with impeccable tannins.
Perfect to accompany roasts and meat sauce, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses, cold cuts and salami.
