Description
Montefalco Rosso Riserva di Adanti is produced from different vineyard parcels located in the province of Perugia, in Umbria.
It is made up of Sangiovese, Sagrantino and Merlot grapes, which first undergo destemming. Maceration and alcoholic fermentation take place inside thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks for a period of 30 days. This is followed by aging in Slavonian oak barrels for 30 months.
It has an intense ruby red color. The nose expresses a bouquet with aromas of red fruit, tobacco, licorice and spices. In the mouth it has a good body and balanced tannins.
Ideal as an accompaniment to grilled red meats and stewed meat.
