Description
Adanti's Montefalco Rosso is produced from different vineyard plots located in the province of Perugia, in Umbria, in the municipality of Bevagna.
It is made up of Sangiovese, Sagrantino Barbera and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, which first undergo destemming and crushing. Maceration and alcoholic fermentation take place inside thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks for a period of 15 days. This is followed by aging in oak barrels for 12 months.
It has an intense ruby red color. The nose expresses a bouquet with aromas of cherry and currant, blackberry and plum. In the mouth it has a good body and balanced tannins.
Ideal as an accompaniment to grilled red meats.
