Montecucco DOC Vermentino Melacce 2022 Collemassari

Montecucco Vermentino Melacce di Collemassari comes to life from vineyards located 300 meters above sea level, on sandstone soils exposed to the action of sea winds which, together with the notable temperature variations, give freshness and aroma to this Tuscan white.

The harvest is deliberately early in order to highlight the lively character of the Vermentino grapes. The vinification takes place in steel at a low temperature in order to preserve the typical aromatic expression of the variety. It refines on the noble lees in order to acquire softness and flavor.

Straw yellow in colour, it brings hints of white peach and mineral nuances to the nose. On the palate it proves to be a harmonious and easy-to-drink wine.

Perfect with fish-based appetizers and seafood risottos, it is excellent to serve as a fresh aperitif.
