Description
The Montecucco Vermentino Irisse of Collemassari was born in the organically run Castello ColleMassari estate, located on the slopes of Mount Amiata, in the province of Grosseto.
It is mainly produced with Vermentino and Grechetto grapes, harvested by hand at the end of September. The vinification takes place in oak barrels, where the wine ages for 12 months, followed by a further period of aging in bottle before being placed on the market.
It is characterized by a straw yellow color with golden reflections. The nose opens with evident and complex floral aromas, enriched with pleasant notes of aromatic herbs. On the palate it is fresh and creamy, with sweet and savory tones followed by a remarkable persistence.
Perfect to accompany all fish preparations, this white wine is ideal in combination with appetizers and fresh cheeses.
