Description
The Montecarlo Vermentino of Fattoria La Torre comes from the Makallè vineyard of only one hectare located in the municipality of Montecarlo, in the province of Lucca.
The harvest is done manually in boxes at the end of September. The must obtained from the soft pressing of the grapes ferments in steel for 15 days at a temperature of 18 ° C. Malolactic fermentation and aging take place in steel, for a period of 6 months.
It announces itself to the sight with a straw yellow color. Rich and layered nose, where delightful fruity and floral fragrances alternate. On the palate it is dry and velvety, soft and harmonious.
Excellent with fish first courses and appetizers but also as an aperitif.
