Description
Blue Label of the Tenuta Buonamico di Montecarlo originates from vineyards located in the town of Cercatoia, in the municipality of Montecarlo.
Fruit of a complex blend of Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon; fermentation and maceration take place in steel: part of the musts is fermented at lower temperatures to best preserve the varietal aromas, while another part spends 7 months in barrique for malolactic fermentation.
It is a wine that satisfies all five senses, presenting itself at the sight of an intense ruby red color with reflections that tend to garnet. It opens to the nose with a clean, decisive perfume, with hints of vanilla and spices that seal its complexity. On the palate it offers structured, ample, soft, with great persistence on the finish.
Its superfine organoleptic profile makes it the most suitable wine to nobly accompany elaborate soups and soups, as well as white meats and stewed game: grilled red meats, eel and medium-aged cheeses are the perfect marriage.
