Description
Bricchetta is a still red wine obtained from 100% Barbera varieties.
After careful manual selection of the grapes, the bunches are brought to the cellar and are subjected to a 4-day pre-fermentative maceration at controlled temperature. Fermentation also takes place at controlled temperature for a further 10 days. Refine in French oak barrels for 14 months. It is already in the small oak barrels that the wine acquires pleasant toasted hints.
Wine with a splendid purple-red color with reflections that tend to garnet, deep and intense. The nose opens with aromas of blackberry, plum and hints of fresh fruit, sealed with notes of vanilla and licorice. On the palate it closes in a finish of intense persistence, pleasantly structured and complex.
It is a wine particularly suited to accompany nobly red meat dishes, roasts and aged cheeses.
