Description
Meursault Chardonnay is made from grapes sourced from shallow soils in the "Les Forge" area west of the village of Meursault.
Fermentation takes place entirely in French oak barrels, 40% of which are new, followed by an 11-month refinement with occasional bâtonnage of the lees.
The wine presents itself with golden reflections and a fruity aroma with notes of rhubarb. On the palate it is broad and harmonious, with a persistent finish of toasted almonds.
Ideal to accompany shellfish, white meats and foie gras, it offers a complex and refined tasting experience.
