Description

Domaine Douhairet-Porcheret's Meursault 1er Cru Les Santenots comes from a vineyard strategically located on the border of Volnay which benefits from a unique location that captures the essence of the region, enhancing the exceptional qualities of Chardonnay. The vineyards can boast an average age of 80 years. The limited annual production of only 2100 bottles of this wine, whose name is probably due to one of the previous owners, make it a gem for true connoisseurs.

The manual harvest is meticulously carried out in small perforated boxes to preserve the integrity of the bunches. The bunches are selected at their peak of ripeness and harvested in the coolest hours of the morning. Fermentation follows traditional methods. The wine matures in partially new French oak barrels for 12 months.

It is characterized by a bright golden yellow color. Its bouquet of citrus fruits, brioche and honey promises a high-level tasting experience, confirmed by a round and velvety palate of notable persistence.

It is perfect to accompany all seafood or fish dishes.
