Description

Merlot Rubicone by Enio Ottaviani is a wine produced in Romagna, precisely in the San Clemente area in Rimini, where the vineyards benefit from an optimal position exposed to the south, south-east. The clayey soil, together with the influence of the Adriatic Sea, gives the wine unique characteristics, enhancing the qualities of the Merlot vine.

The harvest takes place with a careful and selective manual harvesting of the grapes. The fermentation is carried out in concrete to preserve the authenticity and freshness of its varietal notes. The refinement in barrique enriches the profile without overpowering the natural expression of the grape variety.

It presents itself with an intense red tending towards garnet, characterized by thick and regular arches and by a slow tearing that announces its structure and consistency. On the nose it offers a complex intensity, a prelude to a palate where the fruity, floral and spicy dimensions intertwine in a harmonious and inviting way.

Ideal in combination with grilled lamb chops and mature cheeses, this Merlot is capable of skilfully accompanying rich and intense dishes, enhancing each meal through its taste and olfactory balance.
