Description
Excellence of La Mascota winery, fruit of only Malbec grapes harvested in highly selected vineyards of the Valle de Uco, located at an altitude of 1,050 meters above sea level.
The must ferments with indigenous yeasts and macerates in concrete tanks for at least 25 days at a temperature of 25-27 °C. After a natural malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 18 months in French oak barrels and in the bottle for another 6 months.
Ruby red the colour by the glass, it is able to give the nose beautiful aromas of ripe red fruit, with clear perceptions of plum and dark cherry, reached by elegant hints of mint. Juicy and of character on the palate, it is characterized by tannins with a velvety consistency and a mineral flavour that breaks in its persistent closure.
Good with grilled red meats, it offers its best in the company of Argentine asado.
