Description

Familia Escorihuela Gascón Malbec is a red wine produced with 100% Malbec grapes, grown in vineyards located in the Mendoza region. These vineyards, influenced by the winds that descend from the Andes, enjoy a large thermal range and predominantly clayey and sandy soils.

Winemaking involves manual harvesting of the grapes, followed by maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 15 days at controlled temperatures between 24° and 26°C. The wine is then aged for four months in contact with French and American oak, to obtain a soft and rounded character.

On the nose, Familia Escorihuela Gascón Malbec offers fruity aromas of fresh plums, blueberries and cherries, with light notes of vanilla and cocoa resulting from the passage in oak. On the palate, it is a soft and fruity red wine, with a medium body, sweet tannins and a fresh and delicate finish.

This Malbec pairs perfectly with red meats and mature cheeses.
