Description
Mascota Malbec is produced with only Malbec grapes harvested in the vineyards of the Cruz de Piedra, located in the Maipù department of Mendoza.
It is produced through a fermentation with maceration in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 23-25 °C for 25 days. Once the malolactic fermentation is over, it is aged for 15 months in American and French oak barrels.
Intense purple with marked ruby hints, it offers notes of dark fruit, vanilla and flavours of licorice. It enters a sweet and voluminous mouth, closing on a pleasantly tannic and persistent finish.
Recommended with grilled red meat or more mature cheeses.
