Description

Tempus Alba Reserva Syrah is a red wine produced with 100% Syrah grapes, coming from the vineyards of Finca La Alborada, located in Anchoris, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza. This Syrah is the result of a careful selection of grapes, harvested manually in plastic crates to guarantee optimal quality.

The winemaking involves a cold pre-fermentative maceration for 72 hours, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25°C, with a 25-day maceration and natural malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged for six months in oak barriques, of which 70% French and 30% American, before being further refined in the bottle for at least six months.

The Tempus Alba Reserva Syrah presents itself on the nose with intense aromas of berries, plum and sweet spices, enriched by subtle notes of vanilla and chocolate resulting from the aging in wood. On the palate, this wine is full-bodied and velvety, with soft tannins and a long, harmonious finish.

This Syrah pairs perfectly with grilled red meats and mature cheeses.
