Description
Tempus Alba Reserva Malbec is a red wine made with 100% Malbec grapes, grown in the renowned region of Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza. This wine represents the essence of the Argentine terroir, with grapes selected manually and transported in plastic crates to ensure maximum integrity of the fruit.
The winemaking involves a 72-hour cold pre-fermentative maceration, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature between 25 and 29°C, with a 28-day maceration and natural malolactic fermentation. Subsequently, the wine matures for eight months in oak barriques, of which 70% French and 30% American, before further refining in the bottle for at least six months.
On the nose, Tempus Alba Reserva Malbec offers intense aromas of ripe red fruits, plum and spicy notes, with hints of vanilla and chocolate coming from the aging in wood. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well structured, with soft tannins and a persistent and harmonious finish.
This Malbec pairs perfectly with grilled red meats, roasts and mature cheeses.
