Description
Tempus Alba Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon is produced with 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the vineyards of Finca La Alborada, located in Anchoris, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza. The vines have an average age of 23 years, ensuring consistent quality and distinctive aromatic complexity.
The harvest is carried out manually. After a 72-hour cold pre-fermentative maceration, the alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25ºC, with a maceration of 28 days. Malolactic fermentation is natural. The wine matures for six months in 225 liter barriques, of which 70% in French oak and 30% in American oak, followed by a minimum refinement of six months in the bottle.
At sight, the wine has an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet with notes of ripe red fruits, sweet spices and hints of vanilla and cocoa deriving from the aging in wood. On the palate, it is full and enveloping, with soft and well-integrated tannins, good acidity and a long and persistent finish, characterized by nuances of tobacco and black pepper.
This Cabernet Sauvignon is ideal for accompanying grilled red meats, roasts, and mature cheeses.
