Description
Puro Malbec, signed by Dieter Meier, emerges as an emblem of Argentine wine art, embodying the essence of Malbec in its most authentic forms. Dieter Meier, known primarily as the lead singer of the group Yello, is a multifaceted artist who has extended his creativity from the world of music to that of wine, dedicating himself to the production of organic wines that reflect his passion for authenticity and purity. Located in the heart of Mendoza, in Ojo de Agua Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, the vineyard benefits from an altitude of 1,100 meters above sea level and native alluvial soils, ideal for the varietal expression of Malbec. Committed to organic farming, Meier carries forward the vision of a wine that is not only a pleasure for the palate, but also respectful of the environment and its natural resources.
The selected organic Malbec grapes come from Agrelo, an area recognized as the mecca of Argentine wine production. Fermentation and aging take place in stainless steel tanks and concrete tanks, to preserve the fruity character and varietal typicality of the wine. This process emphasizes the integrity and freshness of the Malbec, offering a taste that is both true to the variety and distinctly Argentine.
On a visual level, Puro Malbec presents itself with an intense dark purple color. The aroma is rich with concentrated blackberry and raspberry compote, with a floral undertone of violet and a hint of blackcurrant leaf. On the palate, the wine is fresh and fruity, characterized by clean and refreshing acidity. The tannins are soft and sweet, and the medium body concludes with a persistent finish, underlining the quality and pleasantness of the drink.
It pairs beautifully with grilled red meats, aromatic herbal dishes such as thyme and mint, and hard cheeses.
